Program Purpose
- To encourage students to excel in scholastic achievement, leadership qualities, and community involvement, especially those who have been actively serving the Vietnamese-American Communities.
- To promote generosity among individuals and businesses to provide financial reward to qualified candidates.
Scholarships
- Academic Excellence Scholarships: For students who graduate as a Valedictorian or Salutatorian from high schools in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Individual Foundation Scholarships: For high school graduating seniors and college students who meet criteria set by scholarship sponsor(s) and scholarship committee. Individual Foundation Scholarships are named after sponsor(s) or business.
- Community Service Foundation Scholarship: One scholarship shall be awarded to an individual or to a non-profit organization who demonstrates outstanding contributions to the Vietnamese-American community.
Sponsorships
- Sponsor(s) may participate in more than one scholarship for more than one year.
- Scholarship will be presented by sponsor to recipient(s) during the Annual Vietnamese-American Academic Excellence Recognition Program.
