1. Academic Excellence Scholarship
Award
Scholarships are one-time grants of $500 value.
Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Vietnamese-American.
- Local resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- High School Seniors Class of 2008.
- Graduate as a Valedictorian or Salutatorian.
Required Documents
- This completed scholarship application form.
- Applicants must submit a letter from their High School principal’s office indicating that the applicant will graduate in 2008 as a Valedictorian or Salutatorian.
- Graduation portrait photo.

2. Sponsored Scholarship
Award
Scholarships are one-time grants of $500 value.
Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Vietnamese-American.
- Local resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
- College or High School seniors class of 2008 students.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Must be actively involved in volunteer activities with one or more recognized non-profit organizations.
- Will be attending at an accredit college or university full time
Required Documents
- This completed scholarship application form.
- Transcript from enrolling high school. In lieu of a transcript, applicant may submit a letter from the registrar or recent grade report if it shows the student’s cumulative GPA and current status.
- Verification of college enrolling status and major.
- Letter of recommendation and validation of public service hours by a supervisor or group leader from the non-profit organization.
- Graduation portrait photo.
